Victoria Panton Bacon

Victoria Panton Bacon worked for Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Sir John Major KG CH, in the 1990’s before becoming a BBC television news producer, where she made films in the UK and Europe, including Bosnia. In 2011 she founded a charity with her twin sister (Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope) to raise money for children in developing countries who need prosthetic legs. Her second World War Two book, Remarkable Journeys of the Second World War, was published in September 2020 containing more – previously untold - memories of the War, and she is looking forward to the publication of her third book, containing women’s stories, in June this year.
