This is a unique opportunity to show rare original colour film footage shot during General MacArthur’s US campaign in the Pacific War 1942-45 by British journalist Willliam Courtenay. From Australia, through New Guinea, the islands, the Philippines and to the Fall of Japan, this is a stunningly vivid eye-witness to those extraordinary events. Introduced by his son, Paul Courtenay with independent television producer Denys Blakeway, this unique footage includes front-line action and the Japanese surrender itself.
