46. REFLECTIONS ON THE BOER WAR

That there were two Anglo-Boer Wars is not widely known. The first ended ignominiously for the British, whilst the second was a victory. Both led to major reforms in the British Army. Christopher Newbould will trace the highlights of both wars – a tale of heroism, tragedy, and stupidity, in what has been described as ‘The Last of the Gentlemen’s Wars’.
