85. WATERLOO AND THE TREATY OF VIENNAIn this Thread of History talk, Adam Zamoyski will talk about the Treaty of Vienna, signed on 9 June 1815, and which aimed to be the peace to end all wars. But even as it was signed, Napoleon was amassing new armies for a final show-down and one that would end the Napoleonic Wars for good and bring peace to much of Europe for the next fifty years: the Battle of Waterloo.
