It’s becoming a firm tradition at the festival and this year our annual comedy history panel show is back, led by team leaders Al Murray and Dan Snow and chaired by Charlie Higson. With a stellar line-up including Harry Enfield, and devised by Justin Pollard (AI), this will be another raucous and hilarious Friday evening at the festival. Charge your glasses, sit back and enjoy the fun.
Charlie Higson will examine the British monarchy from William I to our current – still living – monarch from the perspective of their deaths. It’s a gruesome tale of murders, beheadings, smallpox, euthanasia and even red-hot pokers. Funny, gory and, hopefully, instructive, this is a talk for all the family (and especially the Addams Family…)
