For millennia, wood has provided a mainstay of our building construction. Using wood from our site, the processes of shaping and jointing large timbers will be demonstrated, from the beams to the pegs that hold them together.
FREE EVENTS
Living History encampments, Live History Live, Saturday party & fireworks, plus Pop-up History events are all FREE with your entrance to the festival. Entrance is free to those who have a paid-for talk ticket, or you can buy entrance tickets for the weekend below.
