102. AIRFORCE BLUE: THE RAF IN WORLD WAR TWO – SPEARHEAD OF VICTORY

IPGL Tent, Sun 1st July 10:00 - 11:00 (60 mins)

Patrick Bishop, an outstanding historian of the wartime RAF, will examine the high point of the RAF’s existence – the Second World War – when the air force saved the nation from defeat and then led the advance to victory. From the choppy seas of the Atlantic to the sands of the Western Desert to the jungles of Burma, he will portray the spirit of the RAF during its finest hours.
