This is a very special and unique event. Three German wartime Knight’s Cross winners talking about their experiences and the weapons with which they won this medal for gallantry. Ludwig Bauer commanded Stug assault guns in the Panzer Regiment 33 from Normandy right through to the Battle of the Bulge and beyond. Hugo Broch was a Messerschmitt 109 fighter pilot who fought on the Eastern Front and shot down a staggering 81 enemy aircraft. Günter Halm was an anti-tank gunner who served in North Africa under Rommel and later in Normandy.

We have just 100 tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Each man will be talking about their memories of those days, and will also be reunited with the weapons with which they served: the only Stug IIID still operable, a Pak 40 anti-tank gun, and one of only two still-flying original Me109s – an iconic fighter plane that has not been seen over English skies in more than a decade.
